SPICY @Spicy_bbm
This very young talented act came into the game with his “Lenu” track produced by the hit maker D’tunes. This song has got all the ingredients to make a hit song at any point in time. The hook is one that sticks to your head after one shot. D’tunes was again magical on this instrumental. On this track, Spicy was able to reciprocate the likes of Iyanya and Sean tizzle on a D’tunes beat. Asides music, he also got the looks to lure the ladies to his side. This is indeed one great talent that would shake the hierarchy in the Nigeria music scene.
GEE4 @Gee4_dhc
He needs little or no introduction as his song and corresponding visual ‘turn me on’ ft. Skales is still enjoying airplay. This is a song that brough Gee4 into limelight as an act to look forward to. Having listened to his old materials and giving a good consideration to his “turn me on” track, Gee4 is one artiste to look forward to his next single.
LEO WONDER @LeoArawonder
Two things might come to your mind at the sight of this name on my list. The familiarity of the name or why he is here. As a reminder, Leo wonder is the baritone voice on Tiwa Savage’s “Ife wa gbona” and obviously talented. Unarguably, leo is a bundle of talents and sure has what it takes to be at the apex. Not a lot has been heard about him in a while though, he is one talent to look up to.
DRE STICKS @dresticks09
The first time I ever came across this young man or his music was on Soundcity Tv. On that fateful day, a whole lot of new songs were on air, but his caught my attention. 5 star is one rack that has a whole to it. His use of words and dynamism in flow is impeccable. The song has in it a combination of vocals, energy and flow. Also very attractive with this young man is his falsetto. With an act like dre sticks, Wande coal has one more reason to work harder.
EMEKA @Emeka_Official
Someone once asked me if I had come across a Nigerian dude that sounds very much like Drake. At the sight of Emeka’s beautiful day video directed by Unlimited LA, I did not have to look any further. His composure is alluring. The way he was able to fuse 2 genres of music together into one deserves an applause. Emeka, a new act is one that we should all get ready for.
FUGE 5 @Fuge5
Music research made me come across this young man and his music. He is a Nigerian who has always been based in Canada but reps Nigeria to a fault. He has opened stages for big Nigerian acts such as Wizkid, Naeto c, Iyanya in Canada. Some say he is a better Naeto C. He is indeed top notch with great quality. There is almost no big Nigerian event in Canada that won’t have him welcoming the big Nigerian act on stage. Yes I just said that.
HIGH M @iamhighm
This talented young man who is currently in the finals of a rap competition has struck me from the first day I heard him. Although not a big fan of his kind of rap music, but High M does his differently. His songs hit me hard every time and I realize that I get to understand his music as more as I listen. He is indeed deep. With him, I see a lot of hope for rap game in a long time coming
LESU LEMON @lesulemon
As much as I would want to call him a young man, he does a genre of music way beyond his age. Who would have thought that in this age and time, a young man would dwell well into original and undiluted Afro music. With tracks like Silifaa, African hair and 4 the road, this young man has caught attention of people like Femi and Seun Anikulapo Kuti as he gradually carves a niche for himself doing something very peculiar to the past generation.
DEEVA @deevaofficial
This is a female rap genius. A diva like Deeva should frighten other rap divas. She obviously doesn’t look like her kind of music, but this young girl spits fire. Having been endorsed by several artistes, I also acknowledge her craft and can boldly say she is one act to look forward to.
SU-PLY @Su_ply
This young man came around with the song Si pata and raise your glasses after which he had gained a little relevance. Just recently did he come back again with the song Dat yeye boi which has a little Afro tune. Su-ply is yet to disappoint with his songs and I just hope he can continue this way to someday become an household name in the music scene.
